Floral Birthday Wishes - Simon Says Stamp Be Bold Release IG Hop

Good morning! Today I'm joining a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the Be Bold Release from Simon Says Stamp! Lots of inspiration to be found, and some great prizes as well! Head over to my Instagram HERE to check it out! But as always with an Insta hop, there are only so many details you can get in that tiny caption, so I always like to do a full blog post with ALL the details!

I used 3 different colors of Concord and 9th cardstock, and then chose Pawsitively Saturated inks that coordinated with the cardstock, tone on tone, but slightly deeper, I blended around the outer edges of the panels, and then in the centers of each flower. This helped the embossing to pop! I added some splatters of the white gold color from my Starry Colors palette, a few sparkly Iridescent clear drops to the centers of the flowers, and some birthday sentiments from the Birthday Basics stamp set, cut with the coordinating dies, and mounted with foam adhesive. Here are more photos of these finished cards:

Retro Arcs Birthday Cards - Simon Says Stamp Be Bold Release

Hello! Stopping by to share my first cards using the new Be Bold Release from Simon Says Stamp - as usual, I have a set of cards to share! I paired up a new stencil set, with some new to me ink colors, and a recently released and new to me birthday sentiment stamp set!

I used the new Retro Arcs stencil set for these cards - and used an assortment of a few new ink colors I recently picked up. For each of the color combos, I used the lightest, then the darkest shades. I ink blended to keep it as soft in the center as possible, and a bit deeper around the edges. I added sentiments with the Birthday Basics stamp and die set that was part of the previous SSS release - I make a ton of birthday cards, so I knew I had to have it! I used the coordinating dies to pop the main sentiments up on foam, and stamped the secondary sentiment directly on the cardbase. Finished off with a few iridescent clear drops for some sparkle! Here are more photos of this card:

Blue Floral Shaker Card - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

Hello! Today I am part of a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the new Pinkfresh Studio "Artsy Floral" Release. There are giveaways up for grabs, so hop on over to check that out if you haven't yet! I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared a LOTS of cards for that! Today I'm sharing a a fun die cut card I created on YouTube Live last week with Lea Lawson using similar sets but in slightly different ways - this live was extra fun, because we were actually both at my house creating in person together! You can watch that video HERE if you want to see more details!

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

I love using the stamps, stencils, and dies for the washi tape suites - while I adore the washi tapes, I love that I can get an entirely different look from the same product, and customize it to my own colors! I used blues, yellows, and greens, and just love how they look with the gold heat embossed outline. And how much more fun is it to turn it into a shaker card?!? The Notched Frame dies and the sparkly gems in the shaker are also part of this new release, and so fun and versatile! Here are more photos of this card for you:

Pinkfresh Studio “Artsy Floral” Release

Good morning! Today is the blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's March 2024 "Artsy" Release! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! You can find links to all of the new release items I used on today's cards at the bottom of this post!

Usually with our washi releases, I have lots of cards to share. And today is no different! Washi cards are just so quick and easy to create - and then adding the stamps, dies, and stencils as an option just adds to the versatility! Make sure to scroll all the way through to see all the cards I'm sharing today!

First up - I have this card featuring the new Artsy Floral washi, as well as a couple butterflies from the new Fluttering Butterflies washi!

I added a background with Hearts and Stars coverplate die, and framed up the front with Nested Arches dies, one of them cut from Ivory glitter cardstock. Sentiment uses the stamp set for the Artsy Floral set, cut with the coordinating die - and then additional letters die cut using Kaitlyn alpha and matte gold cardstock. Then it was just tucking all the fun washi bits around, and adding some bling to finish! Here are more photos of this first card:

Next up - the new Sakura washi is so pretty - and so timely with the trees in my area just beginning to bloom!

I used more of that ivory glitter cardstock, and a mix of ivory, white, and pink cardstock with the Mini Slimline Frames dies to create a fun canvas to add the washi onto. I tucked the washi pieces around the frame, heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set, and added some of the new gems in the centers of the flowers! Here are more photos of this card:

Next up - I love mixing and matching older sets with newer ones - and the added versatility it gives!

For this one, I used the birdcage from the Best Thing die set - cut from gold glitter cardstock. I tucked in some florals from Artsy Floral and some greenery and butterflies from Fluttering Butterflies. I used one of the new Notched Corner Frames dies, layered over the Floral Grid coverplate die. Sentiment is from the Artsy Floral stamp set, hand trimmed into a small banner. And of course, a good sprinkle of the new gems on this card as well! Here are some more views of this card:

The last two cards I have to share today use the same set, but one uses the washi, and one uses the stamp set!

For this first card - I used the beautiful Vines and Roses washi tape - I love the gold foiling with the beautiful rainbow tones! I added a striking frame using Fancy Oval frames die with Midnight Navy glitter cardstock, and also used the new Notched Corner Frames a couple different ways for this card. You may notice a couple more of those cute butterflies are tucked on this card as well! And a few more of those new sparkly gems help this card shine even more! Here is a closer look at this card:

And then my final card to share today - I love how different this one looks than the last one, even though it is using different parts of the same product suite!

For this one, I used the Vines and Roses stamp, die, and stencil set, and a nice rich and bold color combo. I also stuck with crisp black stamping for the outline. I used an aqua cardbase, and die cut a window - this would also make a super fun shaker card! I added my sentiment in the center of the circle, and added some rows of those lovely gems to frame up the circle a bit.
